Democracy House Summer Service

The Democracy House Summer Service Internship Program connects current and incoming Middlesex College students with opportunities to serve the local community through service. The goal of the program is to meaningfully support local non-profit organization’s missions and programming while also developing students personally, professionally, and as civic-minded leaders and members of society. The program is a 6-week long commitment to an internship site (5-10 hours per week in Middlesex County) and weekly meetings on the Middlesex College main campus in Edison. Summer Service Internship Program participants will receive a stipend at the end of their 6-week internship of up to $500.

Eligibility:

A matriculated Middlesex College student (a student who has already successfully completed at least one semester of course) and registered for the upcoming Fall semester.
An incoming Middlesex College student who is enrolled for classes for the Fall semester
