  • Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society is the international honor society of students attending 2-year colleges seeking associate degrees or other college credentials. Our chapter at Middlesex College is Upsilon Gamma, and membership is by invitation only based on: 

    • Minimum of 3.5 cumulative GPA 
    • Have declared a major and completed least 12 credits toward earning the degree 
    • Completed any required developmental coursework 
    • No student code of conducts 

    Invitations to become a member are emailed to your official Middlesex College email address twice each year: late September (which includes all previous semesters into your cumulative GPA, including summer) and early February (which includes all previous semesters into your cumulative GPA, including winter). Once a member, you will have access to our PTK Canvas page where all general membership meetings, activities and events are announced by your officers. 

    PTK members are eligible for national scholarships as well as transfer scholarships offered by 4-year universities throughout New Jersey and across the country. We also offer opportunities for you to develop leadership, perform community service and work alongside other academically outstanding members in supportive and engaging fellowship.
