The Middlesex College Justice Scholars Program is a holistic program designed to support formerly incarcerated and justice-impacted students on our College campus. Our goal is to empower our scholars on their college journey and assist them in creating a meaningful life and career path beyond college through wraparound support, professional development, and networking opportunities. If you are a justice-impacted student interested in making a change in the world, we invite you to join our program by filling out this application form.
Eligibility:
- Identify as a justice-impacted student: We define justice-impacted students as individuals who have been incarcerated or detained in a prison, immigration detention center, local jail, juvenile detention center, or any other carceral setting, those who have been convicted but not incarcerated, those who have been charged but not convicted, those who have been arrested, and those who have otherwise been justice-impacted. - Have a commitment to activism, advocacy, and social justice

Program Requirements (one academic year commitment):
- Attend 1 pre-semester orientation and success plan meeting
- Attend 2 workshops and/or program events per semester
- Participate in 2 academic check-ins with program staff per semester (or as needed)
- Participate in monthly cohort and networking meetings including completion of an advocacy project
