  • Success Bound Youth Leadership Academy Application for Admission

  • Success Bound aims to prepare Perth Amboy, South Amboy, and Carteret youth to develop the necessary skills to become successful learners and future college students. Success Bound has four goals: to increase post-secondary enrollment, develop soft-skills, gain civic engagement, and reduce remedial placement in college-level courses.

The program is a one to two yearlong commitment inclusive of a mandatory 5- week summer institute that begins in July. The institute aims to equip participants with the support they will need to be a motivated student prepared for college through learning: time management, how to work in groups, goal setting, college/FAFSA application process and career exploration.
